What personal information 99ropani collects, why, who sees it, how long we keep it and your rights under Nepal's Privacy Act 2075.
99ropani (registration pending) ("99ropani") decides how your personal information is used on the 99ropani website and app. We follow the Individual Privacy Act 2075 (2018) and its Regulations 2077, and the Electronic Transactions Act 2063. Questions or requests: privacy@99ropani.com.
We collect only what we need for these purposes, with your consent given when you sign up and use each feature. You can withdraw consent for optional uses at any time: turn off alerts in your account, and location or push notifications in your phone or browser settings.
KYC and property documents are stored in private storage that only you and authorised 99ropani staff can open. They are used only to verify you or your listing and never shown to other users. ID numbers are stored in a normalised form so we can detect duplicate accounts.
Under the Privacy Act 2075 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted when we no longer need it, or object to a use you did not consent to. Most of it you can view and edit yourself in your account. For anything else, email privacy@99ropani.com from the address or number on your account; we reply within 15 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the relevant authority in Nepal.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our hosting providers. Database access is restricted row by row so users can only read what is theirs or public. Staff access is limited to admins, and admin actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
The Service is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We will post any changes here with a new date and tell you in the app for important changes.
